Had a rather excellent day today; an enjoyable shift at the museum (I presided, for the first time, over the No. 13 Breakfast Parlour - quite lovely), then walked to the London Library (stopping for a pint at the Red Lion) where I finished reading ‘Christopher and His Kind’ (there may have been an inadvertent nap at some point). Ended the day by heading off on a Woolfian wander back up north. All very charming, even if I did want to wipe out the swarms of dithering tourists around the West End. Alas.
